Deuce is being reunited!! (NC, TN, KY, IL,MO,IA,SD,MT,ID,WA) FRIDAY 12/1/17 – SUNDAY 12/10/17 Transport Coordinator: Julianna Lambert (firstname.lastname@example.org) Sender: Brother Wolf Animal Rescue Receiver: Kim (MOM) Ok this one is a tear jerker! Deuce is a 7 year old Pitbull who is headed HOME. We just need to get him there! Can you help us along the way? Here is his story : In 2010 Deuce joined our family in Fayetteville, NC. He was chipped and registered and lived in our home with our daughter and other dog. In 2011, Deuce was stolen from us. Despite all efforts to try to relocate him, he was never found. On Dep 13th, 2017, the Cumberland County Animal Control called my phone and told me they found Deuce in Hope Mills, NC. His chip was still registered to me and my phone number had not changed. We are a military family and have since relocated to Washington state. Deuce is being held at the shelter and treated for an upper respiratory infection, ear infection and a bad skin condition caused by flee allergies that were untreated for too long. He was to be euthanized when the shelter staff found his chip. We want to bring Deuce home to his family.
Passenger #1: Deuce Age: 7yrs old Gender:neutered male Breed: Pitbull Vaccines: UTD Quarantine: Completed Temperament: friendly with adults, children, dogs, unknown cats Travel kit will include – Individual Health Cert, collar and leash. If traveling interstate, all passengers MUST have health certificates which cover through the end of transport. ******************* VOLUNTEERS ******************* PLEASE HAND OFF HEALTH CERTIFICATE AND ALL PAPERWORK/BELONGINGS BEFORE TRANSFERRING THE PASSENGER(S) TO THE NEXT DRIVER. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DRIVE THE LEG FOR WHICH YOU HAVE SIGNED UP, CONTACT YOUR TC IMMEDIATELY. ANY SUBS/REPLACEMENT DRIVERS MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR BY YOUR TC! Please bring leashes, slip leads, water, and a water bowl. · Double-leashing is REQUIRED during each and every transfer: o One leash is clipped to a collar or harness. o Second must either be another leash clipped to a *different* collar or harness, OR a slip lead. o Using two leashes clipped on the same collar/harness defeats the purpose of double-leashing. · Transfer ONE animal at a time. · Tether or crate REQUIRED while in vehicle. · NO PERSONAL ANIMALS ON TRANSPORT. · TRANSFER ANIMALS ONLY TO THE INDIVIDUALS NOTED ON THE RUN SHEET. · Do not combine any other transports with this transport without discussing with the TC and receiving permission. · Make sure you transfer all items INCLUDING papers. Transfer all items and paperwork FIRST - check your vehicle one more time before departing. · It is so very important that you inform your transport coordinator of your meeting spots. The coordinator needs to know this information in the event that anything unexpected should happen, like you suddenly go silent because you’ve gotten lost and have no signal, an accident, an escaped animal or other event that would cause us to send someone out to the transfer location. We need to know WHERE that would be.
